Slideshows<\/a> are an easy and delightful way to share your photos with friends and family without bogging down their email servers with attachments. If you\u2019d like to share your memories with a simple link, follow these instructions.<\/p>\n

  1. Download Smilebox<\/strong><\/a> and open it up to the home screen.<\/strong><\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Click on the orange box that says \u201cChoose your format\u201d<\/strong><\/strong>\"choose-format\"\n

    1. Choose the first option, Slideshows
      \n\"slideshows\"<\/strong><\/a>
      \nYou\u2019ll see the following options: Anytime, Holidays, Seasonal, Birthday, Wedding, Special Days, Family & Kids, Thinking of You, Baby, Travel, School, Sports, Pets, and Memorials. Each category includes multiple designs. For the purpose of this example, I chose Travel, which includes 18 design options.<\/p>\n

      1. Select and Personalize Your Design<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        \nI\u2019ve selected the Road Trip design, which can feature up to 400 photos. I clicked \u201cPersonalize\u201d to download the template and to start adding photos to it.<\/p>\n

        1. Follow the prompt: \u201cClick here to get photos & videos\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          \nThis gives you the option to upload photos from your computer, from Facebook, or from Smilebox for iPhone. I picked \u201cUpload photos from my computer.\u201d After you upload, your photos will be available from the photo well on the left side of the screen. Drag a photo from the well onto the slide in the center of the screen to create the first page of your slideshow.<\/p>\n

          1. Choose your music, embellishment, and slideshow speed <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            \nEmbellishment options include City and Forest.\u00a0 For the Slideshow speed, you can choose between 1 and 8 seconds. The transition has several options as well, including cross fade.<\/p>\n

            1. Choose the \u201cAdd Slides\u201d option from the bottom of your window to add additional pages to your slideshow<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              \nFinish adding your photos and rearrange the slides by clicking and dragging the thumbnails in \u201cAdd Slides.\u201d<\/p>\n

              1. Click Save and choose a name for your slideshow and then view the preview<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                9. After the preview, continue on to \u201cShare, Print, or DVD\u201d

                \n<\/strong><\/strong>I chose \u201cShare Digitally\u201d and then \u201cEmail your creation.\u201d I clicked \u201csend,\u201d typed in the email I wanted to send it to (as well as an optional message), and sent my slideshow on its way.<\/p>\n

                I picked \u201cFree\u201d as a way to send my creation. Because I\u2019ve saved my slideshow, I can access it again if I want to share it on Facebook later or email it to more people.<\/p>\n
