You asked for it, we delivered! We’ve just introduced an easy way to fix your photos directly in Smilebox. Simply drag-and-drop your photos into any design, click ‘Fix’ and voila! Enhance the color, change to black and white, rotate — and easily correct dreaded red eye. Give it a try!

Now Save Your Smilebox Creations on a Digital Photo Frame

We’ve just added another way for you to easily share your photos and special moments! Starting today, Club Smilebox members can save their creations on a digital photo frame. Simply insert a memory stick into your computer, click on the Print/Save button and choose the option to “Save JPG images for photo frame” and follow the steps. Then move your memory stick to your photo frame and your Smilebox pages will show up one after another. It’s a great way to preload a photo frame for gift giving!

Smilebox DVD Maker now for Mac too!

Smilebox DVD Maker is now also available for Mac users! Now all Smilebox subscribers (Mac and Windows) can burn any creation to DVD and play it on their TV. We’ve made creating a Smilebox DVD very easy — just a few clicks and you’re done – you don’t even have to wait for the DVD to arrive in the mail. In addition to burning your Smilebox movie to DVD, as of today you can also play your Smilebox movie on your computer using iTunes or Windows Media Player, or post your movie to YouTube, Facebook or other sites.

New! Scheduled Send: The Ultimate Convenience Feature

Just in time for the hectic holidays, we’ve released our best time-saving feature yet — scheduled sends. Now you can make your Smilebox creations at a time that’s convenient and have them delivered any day you want! The ladies of Smilebox, as many of you know, are busy moms and we’ve been advocating and eagerly anticipating this feature. And we know you can relate! Most of us have one day every week or so (if we’re lucky…) without the kids to organize our calendars, birthdays, photos and maybe even a little scrapbooking or crafting. Now we can use this time to also create and schedule Smileboxes for all of our upcoming occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries and holidays. We’ll be (and look!) more organized than ever.

So try it out and get a head start on scheduling those holiday party invitations and greetings. Just click to send your creation and use the drop down calendar to select the day on which you want the Smilebox to be emailed. It’s that easy. Now Recipients Can Save Your Smilebox Creations

New this week, friends and family can save your Smilebox creations they receive via email to their own computers. Now your friend Jessica or Cousin Joan can access them anytime online or offline. They simply click on the Save this Smilebox button at the bottom right of a Smilebox playback window to try it out and save them to their computer. Try Our New Photo Notifier

Now when you add new photos to your computer, we make it even easier for you to share them. Try it out! After you copy your photos from your camera to your My Pictures folder or iPhoto, a new Smilebox notification displays at the bottom of your screen showing your new photos flowing in. Simply click on the notification window them and you will be taken directly to the “Add Photos” window in Smilebox. It makes photo sharing with Smilebox as easy as 1-2-3! New: Your Recipients Can Now Save Photos!

Here’s a cool new feature – one of my personal favorites. Did you know you can now truly share the photos in your Smilebox creations with your friends and family? After viewing your emailed Smilebox they can simply click on the “Save Photos” link at the bottom left of their screen and select the image(s) they like and download directly to their hard drive. It’s a great way to give your photos of the soccer game to other parents or pictures of the kids at summer camp to grandma. And all delivered via email creatively wrapped in a Smilebox design! Much cuter than a file attachment or a link to a web site, don’t you think?

As always, your recipients don’t need to have Smilebox or register anywhere to view and download their photos. (For privacy purposes, this feature is limited to only emailed Smileboxes and is not included on those creations posted to blogs.)

New: Add Hundreds of Photos to Your Slideshows!

You asked for it and we delivered! Check out the debut of two next-generation slideshow designs — Slide and Swirl — that let you include hundreds of photos in your creation! We’ve also made it easy to drag-and-drop to change the order of your photos. These slideshows are perfect for when you want to show off lots of photos in one creation, such as a tribute slideshow, vacation slideshow, or wedding slideshow. We’ll be rolling out many more new slideshows like these in the coming weeks and months.
