Tips for making your Year in Review GREAT
Big events are key. Everyday photos are great, but don’t forget to include the big experiences that really helped to define 2009. Just think weddings, graduations, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays – anything that brought people together!
Include a video greeting. A brief message from you and yours will help make this slideshow special. Give everyone a chance to say something, but try to keep it short and sweet so your viewers won’t get too impatient.
Write compelling captions. Not everyone will be familiar with what’s been going on in your life, so it never hurts to provide a little commentary. Even the shortest of captions will help to keep your loved ones entertained and engaged in your photos.
Include a Top 10 list. Film your kids listing off their favorite 10 movies or top 10 news events of 2009. Intersperse these videos with your pictures to add a little spice to your slideshow.
