Smilebox has added a great new feature that allows you to receive comments from friends and family about your Smilebox –- and the photos and videos you’ve included in your creation! It’s simple. After someone plays your Smilebox, they can share with you their reaction by adding their comment next to your creation. You will get an email letting you know whenever comments are added, so that you can check them out. Everyone who plays your Smilebox will be able to see other’s comments and can reply back to them, starting an online conversation about your Smilebox creation. With our new comment feature, Grandma in Boston can tell you how much her grandkids have grown or your best friend down the street can thank you for remembering her birthday. And it’s easy to control your comments! You can always delete any comment by clicking on the x button to its right. If you prefer not to be notified via email when comments get added to your creation, you can just click on the relevant link on your comment notification email.

I love this website and have told many fiends about it. I teach school and the computer I have at school is a Mac and I’m sorry that smilebox isn’t available. A question I would like to be answered is can the scrapbook pages be send to professional printers instead of using a personal printer. I’m just not sure that I’m getting the best quality print and I want to be sure that my scrapbook pictures will be good many years from now. Please reply and let me know if it is possible or prehaps this is something that might be possible at a later date.

TO check to see who has left a comment I don’t where to look? When I click on where it reads: check on so and so’s comment, the jack in the box doesn’t open the file? I have had this problem before….

Melody, Yes! Just click the “Send, Blog or Print” tab and click on “Save As JPEG.” You can now upload the file to an online printing retailer or save it to disk and take directly to a store. Check out our new square scrapbook designs that can be printed in 12×12 or 8×8 formats for scrapbooking pages in minutes! Also, when printing on your home printer try experimenting with a variety of paper for best results. We use a glossy premium photo paper from Staples that we love! We are also busy working on a Mac version of Smilebox and will provide updates here in the coming weeks.
